Hi, I'm Timothy Allgood

I’ve been interested in building things on computers since high school, but professionally I’ve spent the last six years working on software used by federal and fintech organizations.

These days, I work across six federal applications at Strongbridge. My biggest recent project was reviving an Angular modernization that had stalled. I upgraded the application from Angular 10 to 21, separated the .NET backend and Angular frontend into their own build and deployment processes, and created the Azure DevOps pipelines that release them.

I also handle the less glamorous but equally important parts: fixing bugs, updating reports, tracing deployment problems, and figuring out why something that worked yesterday suddenly does not.

Before Strongbridge, I worked at Raistone building onboarding tools and internal financial applications. That included third-party API integrations, dashboards, SQL Server work, automated tests, and a great deal of code review.

Outside of work, I tend to build things that I would actually use. My largest web project is Goblify, a collection of generators and campaign tools for tabletop RPG players. Building it has given me room to work with Next.js, React, PostgreSQL, subscriptions, authentication, and all the other pieces involved in turning an idea into a real application.

I enjoy work where I can learn how a system fits together, find the parts causing trouble, and leave it easier to use and maintain than I found it.
